Wellness Education Continues This Fall
Taking a moment of pause can make all the difference in the world. This fall, we’re welcoming new souls to our community who understand the power of transformation. At Dharma Yoga Loft, education goes beyond the physical - it’s about discovering who you truly are and what your body, mind, and spirit need to thrive.

Finding your dharma - your life’s purpose and righteous path - isn’t always something that happens in a classroom or through a book. It can unfold on the mat, and often it does. Through movement, in the sacred space between breath and intention and in the stillness of savasana. When we move our bodies mindfully, we create space for self-actualization to emerge naturally.
At the end of every class there is a brief savasana, mini relaxation, inspiration, or moment of gratitude offered. And it is like a breath of fresh air for your body, your mind, your heart, and for your nervous system. These moments aren’t just rest - they’re invitations to listen deeper, to discover what your heart truly knows. We are so glad these beautiful souls found their Dharma!

Yoga Nidra, often referred to as the “yogic sleep”, is a guided meditation that leads you into deep relaxation while remaining consciously aware. It’s takes the focus from movement, to stillness. It’s not about effort, but rather surrender.

When our teachers deepen their education, everyone benefits. There’s something beautiful about watching an instructor return from training with fresh wisdom, new techniques, and expanded understanding. Their growth becomes your growth, their learning enhances your transformation.
• Michaela Goorahoo- EXPAND+BREATHE and instructor at Dharma Yoga — brings over a decade of formal training in classical and contemporary Pilates, Pilates Sculpt, and Yoga. She has recently expanded her expertise to include Inferno Hot Pilates, a high-intensity interval training method that blends Pilates principles with strength training to boost metabolism, build strength, and support joint-friendly conditioning.

Just a few years ago, Michaela experienced a serious car accident and drew on her knowledge of movement to guide her rehab from brain and spinal injuries. She reflects:

Her continued learning deepens every cue, enriches each adjustment, and infuses intention into every class sequence.

Ready to Learn What Your Body Needs
Your body is constantly communicating with you - through tension, through ease, through energy, through fatigue. Learning to listen is one of the most important skills we can develop. The practitioners at our Wellness Lounge understand that healing happens when we offer our bodies exactly what they’re asking for.
Sound: Your cells respond to vibration. Sound therapy and healing frequencies can shift your nervous system from stress to restoration, helping you release what no longer serves. Jena offers private and group Sound Healings.
Touch: Therapeutic massage isn’t luxury - it’s education for your muscles, fascia, and nervous system. It teaches your body how to let go, how to receive, and how to heal. Massage and Reiki are a wonderful way to offer the vibration of touch.
Detox: Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is help our bodies release - toxins, stress, old patterns, emotional weight. Detoxification practices create space for new energy to flow. This is the reason Massage therapist and Reiki Healers remind you to drink extra water to assist you in your detox process.
Love: The vibration of genuine care and compassion is medicine. When practitioners work from a place of love, your body remembers its own capacity for self-love and healing.
