Neurogenic Qigong Workshop with Lara J Day
Saturday, May 23, 2026, 10:00 am to 11:45 am
Dharma Yoga Loft | Paso Robles
Investment: $50
Neurogenic Qigong is a deeply restorative practice that blends traditional Qigong with powerful, body-led tremor work.
We begin with a 3 Dantian Qigong practice—using gentle movement, breath, and awareness to cultivate and circulate life-force energy while settling the nervous system. The Lower Dantian supports physical vitality and grounding, the Middle Dantian relates to emotional well-being and the heart, and the Upper Dantian is associated with mental clarity and spiritual awareness.
From this foundation, we gradually introduce neurogenic tremors: natural, involuntary muscle contractions that emerge as a way to release stored tension, stress, and deeply held patterns. These tremors are not subtle—they can be a strong and tangible physical experience as the body unwinds and discharges accumulated strain.
As the process unfolds, the body is given space to release, reorganize, and return toward a state of balance and ease.
This workshop offers a safe, supportive space to explore deep release, nervous system regulation, and a more embodied sense of well-being.
Lara J. Day
Lara J. Day is the creator of Neurogenic Qigong, an innovative healing method that blends Chinese energy medicine with tension- and trauma-releasing neurogenic tremor work. She is also the author of 13 Sacred Nights Oracle, and is devoted to bringing deeper meaning and soulfulness back to our modern, often commercialized traditions.
With over three decades of experience teaching movement (since 1994) and energy arts (since 2003), Lara brings a depth of knowledge, presence, and reverence to her work. She is deeply grateful for her teachers and for the opportunity to explore life through an energetic lens.

Spring Unwinding
A Yin Practice for the Liver & Gallbladder with James Kapicka
Dharma Yoga Loft | Paso Robles
Sunday, March 8, 2026, 5 pm - 7 pm
Investment: $40
About this class: Feel the slow return of movement as winter loosens its grip. This Yin practice invites the body to open from the inside through long-held hip shapes, side bends, and gentle twists that soften the ribs, waist, and deep belly.
As breath moves through the shapes, sensation spreads along the Liver and Gallbladder pathways, inviting over-held places to ease. The body begins to feel more fluid, more available, and more responsive to the upward energy of spring. Let the body settle and allow space to open for what is ready to move again.
James is a somatic-based movement facilitator, yoga teacher, and Thai massage practitioner. He creates easeful environments that invite students to try new things while empowering them to trust their intuition.
His approach blends curiosity, creative play, and authentic expression, supporting a deeply resonant relationship with self, others, and the natural world.
