Mom & Baby Yoga classes are offered throughout the year. This special class is available for new mothers and their baby, (6 weeks to pre-crawling stage). Class includes time to connect and share with other moms, followed by yoga for both mom and baby. This is a unique class because it is a mother's support circle + yoga combo. Class is designed to be interactive and playful and offers time to bond with your baby and other new moms. 

Join Vanessa Orr ~She will guide this Postnatal Yoga class that is designed to support a women's post partum body, mind and spirit. Classes will provide balance between building strength and releasing tension through breathing techniques and movement. Classes will include yoga asana (postures) that will soften sore muscles and help relax a tired mind. There will be a special time for baby yoga also-a fun way to bond with baby.

This class offers a gentle and safe space to form a loving relationship with your new postpartum body, bond with your new baby and be part of a special community of new moms.

 Join Vanessa Orr for Mom & Baby Yoga 

Vanessa has dedicated herself to the nurturing development of kids and families through yoga and mindfulness practices.  As a public elementary school teacher for seven years, she has combined her skills and expertise from the classroom with her two- 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certifications through Yoga Tree SF and California Yoga Company, to help develop her kids yoga classes. She also holds an Its Yoga-Kids Teacher Training Certification and Next Generation Yoga 8-13 year old Certification.  

Vanessa practices and teaches mindfulness in which she also holds a Mindful Schools Curriculum Certification. Vanessa trained under Jane Austin with Mama Tree where she holds a Pre/postnatal yoga certification. 

She completed her BA at Arizona State University in Elementary Education with a focus on multicultural and multilingual populations with a minor in dance.  She currently holds a Clear California teaching credential with an authorization to teach children in which English is a second language, also known as a CLAD certification. 

Vanessa's goal is to bring happiness, confidence, mindfulness, and strength to all of her students.
